According to reports, Jason Li, the co-founder of Solayer, recently announced a significant breakthrough: their InfiniSVM testnet has successfully achieved a processing capacity of 200,000 transactions per second (TPS), marking a new milestone in the performance of the Solana ecosystem.
InfiniSVM employs an innovative hardware acceleration and parallel processing architecture, optimizing the execution efficiency of the Solana Virtual Machine (SVM), which enhances its transaction processing capability by over 20 times compared to the traditional Solana mainnet. This technological advancement makes InfiniSVM one of the most efficient execution layers in the current Solana ecosystem.
Jason Li stated in a statement that the goal of Solayer is to enable the Solana network to achieve trading speeds comparable to centralized exchanges while maintaining its decentralized nature. This breakthrough signifies that the application of the Solana ecosystem in decentralized finance (DeFi), game finance (GameFi), and other fields will see significant improvements.
The Solayer team has not stopped there; they plan to further optimize system performance in the coming months by introducing multi-cluster architecture and Remote Direct Memory Access (RDMA) technology. Their ultimate goal is to achieve a processing capacity of over one million transactions per second, providing more efficient and low-latency infrastructure support for the Solana ecosystem.
This technological breakthrough not only demonstrates the immense potential of blockchain technology but also paves the way for the widespread adoption of decentralized applications. As performance bottlenecks are gradually overcome, we can expect to see more innovative applications emerging in the Solana ecosystem, driving the entire blockchain industry forward.
